God saw the union of strange flesh and decided to destroy man, and set the number of years to 120.
(Gen 6:2) that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they [were] beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he [is] indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”
Now, 120 years is just half a generation for the life-span of the antediluvians, set until the flood.
Sodom also was sinful and wicked, and had gone after strange flesh of homosexuality.
So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. (Gen 12:4)
But the men of Sodom [were] exceedingly wicked and sinful against the LORD. (Gen 13:13)
And the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” (Gen 18:20-21)
Similarly, from the time when Sodom was referred as wicked and sinful against God, till the destruction by fire and brimstone, it is just half-a-generation.
Today, homosexuality, the union of strange flesh is widely practiced. On June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry nationwide. More then 21 countries had legalized same-sex marriage with several nations having homosexuality legal and the push to legalize gay marriage it is increasing greatly in every nation every year.
As in the days of Noah, the abomination of this unnatural union of same-sex is spreading across the globe. Do we just have half-a-generation left for Christ’s second coming?
