There is a great Faith Only deception around the world which does not have works. They seems to be good Christians and believe that they are saved by faith in Christ and not by any works they do, they bear no fruit. This deception from Satan had made many Christians fruitless and give a false sense of salvation so that they can continue to walk in the broad way rather than the narrow gate thinking they are saved.

In this blog, we will explore how the Heavenly Father takes away Christians from Christ’s hands who bear no fruit, how Christ will deny Christians who prophesy, cast demons and do wonders in His name yet practice unrighteousness. and how the Holy Spirit destroys the Christians who who defile themselves within whom He dwells.

Father Takes Away

John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. … 6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Son Denies

Christ mentions the importance of practicing righteousness and holiness.

Matt 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

These are people who say Lord, Lord, even prophesy, cast out demons and do many wonders “in His name”.

Mark 3:23b How can Satan cast out Satan? 

Mark 9:38-40 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.” But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. For he who is not against us is on our side.

Holy Spirit  Destroys

1Cor 3:16-17 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

Spirit of God never dwells on an unbeliever but on a believer. God Himself will destroy His own believers where He dwells, if they defile themselves. This is also seen in the old testament.

Isa 63:10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them.

If we grieve the Holy Spirit, He will fight against us and destroy us.

Conclusion

• If you don’t bear fruits, Father will take away. 
• If you practice lawlessness, Son will deny you. 
• If you defile yourself, Holy Spirit will destroy you.
