Feasts of the LORD

God gave Moses specific instructions regarding the calendar to follow. Without understanding this calendar, we will be missing out several things regarding the fulfilment of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is important to note, a complete day in God’s calendar is from evening to evening.

Note: The blue color is from LXX. The Temple icon is the requirement to appear before the Lord.

Sivan
(third month)
Esth 8:9 So the king’s scribes were called at that time, in the third month, which is the month of Sivan, on the twenty-third day; and it was written, according to all that Mordecai commanded, to the Jews, the satraps, the governors, and the princes of the provinces from India to Ethiopia, one hundred and twenty-seven provinces in all, to every province in its own script, to every people in their own language, and to the Jews in their own script and language.

Esth 8:9 So the scribes were called in the first-month, which is Nisan, on the three and twentieth day of the same year; and orders were written to the Jews, whatever the king had commanded to the local governors and chiefs of the satraps, from India even to Ethiopia, a hundred and twenty-seven satraps, according to the several provinces, according to their dialects. (LXX).

The 3rd month is called Sivan. However, LXX of the same verse suggests the event happened in 1st month (which is Nisan, a Babylonian name). Irrespective of 1st or 3rd, the focus here is just the name of the 3rd month which is Sivan.
