Beware of Church Hypocrisy

Many of today’s churches are hypocrites who do not follow Christ but actually follow Paul using Christ’s name.

Below are some of the church hypocrisy that can cost your salvation and the real truth you need to be aware of.

 Church Hypocrisy  Truth
Lie# 1 Bible is God’s Word  (or) inspired Word of God (or) Bible is Scripture. Jesus is God’s Word (John 1:14). The words spoken by Christ is the Father’s words through Him (John 12:49; John 14:10). Christ called only the law, psalms and prophets as Scripture (Luke 24:44-45).
Ask your local church why are you saying Bible is God’s Word when Jesus is the Word of God and His spoken words are the words of God. They will answer you it is the Christian faith and it is heretic to even say Bible is not God’s word. You will see this lie in nearly every church’s statement of faith. It is so important for the church to establish this lie to proceed with church doctrines which are not from Christ but based on further lies. The truth is, Christ, defined what Scripture is.
Lie# 2 Jesus teachings are only for Jews and God gave Paul for gentiles (or) Paul’s letters supersedes Christ’s teachings because Paul is for gentiles. Jesus instructed to teach all nations to observe all things that He had commanded (Matt 28:19-20)
Usually, you will be never be told with this lie probably because the church wants you to be ignorant but taught in seminaries where pastors are brainwashed with doctrines of men. Ask the local church, if Jesus and Paul preached the same, why are there significant differences between Jesus and Paul, and contradicting each other. Then you will be surprised to learn that they even reject Christ’s teachings by saying that they are only for Jews and God gave Paul for gentiles. This is one of the reasons you will find nearly all doctrines of churches based on Paul’s letters and not from Christ.
Lie# 3 It is heretical and unchristian to reject Paul or his letters as it was being taught for the past 2000 years which is the tradition of Jesus disciples and apostles. It is the Father’s Word spoke through Jesus Christ we must follow (Deu 18:18-19; John 14:10). He also said only a few will find it (Matt 7:13-14) and tares will be sown in His kingdom (Matt 13:24-25)
Establishing lie #1 and #2 are crucial for most of the churches today to continue on their false doctrines. Jesus did not call Paul as an apostle (Rev 21:14). Paul does not even qualify to be an apostle (Acts 1:21-23), hence appointed himself as an apostle (Rom 11:13). None of the writings of the apostles and disciples of Jesus agrees with Paul’s doctrines. The fact is, the church declared those who preach Paul to be wrong as heretics and eliminated them by murdering them and burning them at stake. Ask your local church if Jesus and Paul taught the same thing, why do we even need Paul’s writings? You will be surprised to see the church will enforce the Lie #1 and Lie #2.
Lie# 4  We follow Christ The church actually use Jesus name to follow Paul (John 5:43-44). Beware of such hypocrisy from Paulians who come in.
Today’s churches are Christ-coated Paul followers. They preach and follow Paul on everything. Their doctrines, teachings will be fully based on Paul. On a typical sermon, count the verses quoted that are doctrinal from Jesus and Paul, and you will be surprised there will be next to nothing from Jesus but everything from Paul. It’s appalling! Ask your local church if they follow Jesus Christ, why they preach Paul on everything. You will be surprised to see the church will enforce the Lie #1, Lie #2 and Lie #3.
Lie# 5 We are loving and kind showing God’s love. They are loving and kind only if anyone accepts their lies or as long as anyone doesn’t question their blind faith on Paul and his letters.
Try to question Paul and show the contradictions. The church will say you are confused and try to enforce Lie #1 and Lie #2. If you resist their lies, the same people who were loving and kind will declare you as a heretic. The more you resist them to stand on what Jesus said, you will be kicked out with harsh words.

Replies from Churches for Reference

Below are some of the replies we received from churches while we were attending those churches. I had masked anything that identifies.

Reformed Evangelical Church

As you said, this is an essential matter, and you have demonstrated a clear and deliberate rejection of the *** doctrine of salvation. Your unique views are incompatible with what we believe and hold to at ***, and might I add also incompatible with any other churches that I know of, including ** and ***. This does not automatically proof you wrong, but it should indicate to you that you need to engage in theology and read extensively, to consider the issues that theologians has wrestled through in the past and present, and see if your own views would stand up to the weight of the SUM of Scripture.

Independent Bible-based Church

I asked the pastor, how can he reject Jesus teachings as works by using Paul’s letters. He said, Christ’s teachings are not enough for salvation but need Paul’s letters too. When I asked how can you make Paul’s letters equal with Christ’s and even reject His teachings, they don’t want us to come to their church.

Assemblies of God Church

When I questioned Paul’s contradictions with Christ to Asst. Pastor, I was told I am confused, not qualified and have a demon. I resisted by asking, are you saying me that I have a demon which is an unforgivable sin, when I am actually saying what Christ told and the requirement of being sinless and holy, he boldly replied ‘yes, I have a demon’.  I was also told that he will be the last person to talk to me and not to come to their church.

There were also several churches we did attend but unwilling to continue in their false teachings. Some churches did not kick us out but warned not to have fellowship with other believers or not to discuss these contradictions.

When you stand up for Christ and His teachings, it is the church which will persecute you, showing their true colors instead of love of God which they speak of.

Why do Pastors desperately want to believe lies?

If a Pastor rejects Paul’s letters in favor of Christ’s teachings:

  • Their years of study at seminary will be in vain. Their education and qualification are at stake.
  • They can’t work on that church or receive no support from their denomination. Their job is at stake.

Hence, many pastors safeguard these lies with their life as there is much at stake to lose for the sake of Christ and His teachings.

Conclusion

There are many lies told by many churches that every Christian must be aware of. The church will say, Bible is God’s Word  (or) inspired Word of God (or) Bible is Scripture. The truth is, Christ is the Word of God and what God spoke in OT and what Christ spoke are the words of God. The church may have hidden this doctrine from you that, Jesus teachings are only for Jews and God gave Paul for gentiles. The truth is, Jesus instructed to teach all nations to observe all things that He had commanded. The church will say, it is heretical and unchristian to reject Paul or his letters as it was being taught for the past 2000 years which is the tradition of Jesus disciples and apostles. The truth is, we need to follow what Christ taught. The church will say that they follow Christ but they actually follow Paul using Christ’s name. The church is loving and kind showing God’s love. But the truth is, they are loving and kind only if their lies are accepted. Beware! believe in Jesus and obey His teachings.
