The fighting between Israel and Hamas had escalated in recent days. Due to these recent events, it is important for us to know and understand what God spoke through His prophets.
Cyrus does not know God yet He used him as His instrument for His people. In 2016, God appointed Cyrus to rule over the US to be His instrument is part of His grace. In the past 4 years, Cyrus did everything God wanted to give His people.
God had delivered His warning through prophets, Pharaoh and even a donkey. Today, He chose to deliver His warning through a rugby player right before the elections is no coincidence. God used the very people who live in sin to freely advertise His warning to sinners all over Australia in all media. If the message is indeed from God, then based on what He spoke, Jesus had given a grace period to His people in Australia to turn from their sins by giving an election result favourable to His people, allowing them to freely and publicly worship Him for a period before His judgment begins in His house.

Brian Houston must be ashamed to even quote Jesus Christ and John the Baptist.
This post is a response to the opinion article Same-sex marriage: What does the Bible really have to say? published in ABC and originally published in The Conversation. It’s actually an email sent to a private church group but posting it here will benefit all Christians.
