We are living in dangerous times and the next decade can plunge us into major battles.

When it is evening you say, [‘It will be] fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, [‘It will be] foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot [discern] the signs of the times.

Matt 16:2

We should not be hypocrites who can discern the weather but not the signs of the times. In this post, we will explore the reasons why we are living in dangerous times.

Rise of false prophets

“And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the LORD has not spoken?’– when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that [is] the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Deut 18:21-22

There are many so-called prophets who claim to speak on God’s behalf every new year to tell the audience about what is going to happen that year. There are two major recent events—Covid-19 in 2020 and Russia-Ukraine War in 2022 which allows us to not only verify if they are fake or real but also to listen to them in future with consideration if they are real. I did a thorough sweep of nearly all prophecies related to new year 2020 to find if any have even remotely prophesied Covid-19 that devastated the entire word. If they did say something related to diseases or plague, I then checked new year prophecies of them in 2022 to see if they had prophesied about the Russia-Ukraine war. To my surprise, nearly all prophets are liars. There are several videos made by many like this one who even mocked those false prophets. Hope is not entirely lost as I can find at-least one or two little known mostly non-English speaking preachers who did prophesy correctly.

Why within a decade?

Both leaders of Russia and China have consolidated their power in the past decades. When Putin’s term ends in 2036, he will be 83 years old. Within a decade, both leaders will be more than 80 years old. With massive nuclear weapons at their disposal, each having their own goals (stopping NATO expansion in the east for Russia and conquest of Taiwan for China) and their common enemy is America. Both of them hate America but friends with each other. Because of the age of these two leaders who consolidated their powers in the past decades, we only have a decade to see any major battles to achieve their goals before their health deteriorate with their age. We can clearly see Russia moving forward with their goals, but China hasn’t made its move.

Apart from the above, we have seen the rise of homosexuality in the past decade. It has risen so much that it is literally included in every path of life, even publicly blessing such abominations by churches and indoctrinating children in schools. Most Christians had to take a decision whether to follow Christ and endure persecution, or the world and save their livelihoods. Without a doubt, we are living like in the days of Lot and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah will be sudden. Interestingly, Russia and China are strictly against them.

Now the LORD raised up an adversary against Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he [was] a descendant of the king in Edom. … And God raised up [another] adversary against him, Rezon the son of Eliadah, who had fled from his lord, Hadadezer king of Zobah. … Then Solomon’s servant, Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephraimite from Zereda, whose mother’s name [was] Zeruah, a widow, also rebelled against the king.

1 Kgs 11:14,23, 26

In the Scriptures, we can see how God raised two people as adversaries against Solomon when he departed from the LORD by committing abominations of other gods. God also caused Jeroboam to rebel and tore his kingdom giving most of it to his servant.

Prophecy deadline

.. prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke [as they were] moved by the Holy Spirit.

2 Pet 1:21

In April 1996, Dumitru Duduman received a vision of a coming attack on America coming from both China and Russia. You can read about it here which we discussed in an earlier post when things abominable to God got legalised in US, and it became like Sodom and Gomorrah. The prophecy suggests when America goes to war with China, the Russians will strike without warning. The war between China and America is brewing with one US air-force general even predicting the year to be 2025 [Ref].

In another prophecy by Dumitru Duduman, it is mentioned – “When the Americans will think that it is peace and safety – from the middle of the country, some of the people will start fighting against the government. The government will be busy with internal problems. Then from the ocean, from Cuba, Nicaragua, Mexico,,..” (He told me two other countries, but I didn’t remember what they were.) “…they will bomb the nuclear warehouses. When they explode, America will burn!”.

It is interesting to note the next US election is in 2024 and the US is more divided than ever. We can also speculate that Russia would not attack America when Trump is in power. Does this mean Trump will lose the 2024 presidential election which triggers a civil war? We don’t know for sure. This all suggests that Trump may lose the next US election is in 2024 which may be the trigger for some to fight against the government. What we do know is, times are very dangerous and things are escalating very quickly. Just as we can say, “Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast”, we can clearly see some terrible things about to happen within the next decade.

Conclusion

.. as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Jude 1:7

I neither acknowledge nor reject the prophecy of Dumitru Duduman. You read the prophecy for yourself and discern with the help of Scriptures. But, as Jude says, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire will be upon all who go after strange flesh aka homosexuality.
