The doctrine of Trinity is found throughout the Bible. Yet, many try to neglect it and provide alternative explanations to hide the triune nature of God. Let this post be an eye opener for all who do not believe Jesus Christ is God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1-2,14)
The Question
Gen 2:17 “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
Gen 3:19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.”
If God cursed man to die and cursed him to return to dust, can anyone who is not God can save mankind from this curse by going against God?
Isa 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
God said that man will surely die and will return to dust. God spoke those words and it will not return to Him void and we will all die. Can anyone overthrow God’s words and save mankind? Or, Can God say something and do contrary to what He said? Hence, all Unitarians, Jehovah’s witnesses and Jews have no hope of salvation, no hope of life after death.
The Answer:
No one can go against God’s Word to save man who was cursed in garden of Eden (Gen 3:19). Hence, the Word who is God Himself became flesh (John 1:14), took the form of a Man to go through the curse and die as cursed. If Christ is not God, He cannot go against what God spoke. But, Christ is life and God Himself (John 14:6) and death cannot overtake life. It is through His death, He defeated death itself and now has the keys to death and hades (Rev 1:18).
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
There is no other way man can come to the Father. Christ is the only way to eternal life. His death doesn’t mean anything to anyone unless we are found worthy of attaining the next age (Luke 20:35) by being holy and righteous (Matt 18:8-9).
Hence, if Christ is not God, He cannot save mankind by going against God’s Word. However, the Word who is God Himself became Flesh and born in this world as Jesus Christ to save all mankind from the curse spoken by God.
Conclusion
Unitarians, Jehovah’s witnesses and Jews must understand that they have no hope that God can save them, for they all reject Christ being one with God, and reject Him being the Word of God. For them, there is no hope of resurrection, for the Word spoken by God will make sure they die for His Word will not return to God void. Therefore, I urge them to accept Jesus Christ as God who broke the curse of death spoken by God.
