When we read prophecy in Scripture, it is important for us to know the maping of present location to ancient locations. In context of this post, city states of Philistine is same as Gaza as they are refering to the same location.

Israel is staying, forget State of Palestine

I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit [them;] They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, And no longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them,” Says the LORD your God.

Amos 9:14-15

As Jesus spoke to His disciples before ascending to Heaven (Acts 1:6-7), the Father had restored the kingdom to Israel in 1948. When God brings back the captives of the children of Israel, they will build waste cities and inhabit them which we are wtinessing it happen. But God gives a promise that is very relevant today, that is, Israel is staying and will never be pulled from their land anymore. Hence, God will make sure no one takes their land – This includes anyone fighting against Israel for an independent Palestinian State.

Israel will attack Gaza

It shall come to pass in that day [That] the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea. He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah From the four corners of the earth. Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, And Judah shall not harass Ephraim. But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; Together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; And the people of Ammon shall obey them.

Isa 11:11-14

After the return of the remnants of His people to united Israel, they will together swoop down/attack the Philistians on the west and adversaries of Judah shall be cut off. Hence, Israel will attack Gaza.

Gaza will be destroyed

Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD [is] against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; So there shall be no inhabitant.” … Therefore, as I live,” Says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Surely Moab shall be like Sodom, And the people of Ammon like Gomorrah– Overrun with weeds and saltpits, And a perpetual desolation. The residue of My people shall plunder them, And the remnant of My people shall possess them.”

Zeph 2:5,9

What will be the end of it? God spoke through His prophet Zephaniah that the land of Philistines which is presently Gaza will be destroyed and left with no inhabitants.

Conclusion

When the diaspora of Israel had returned to dwell safely in their own land, they will no longer be pulled out from their land which God gave to them. Israel will attack Gaza. Scripture also says, God will destroy Gaza and leave it without any inhabitants.

Thank you for this analysis. I will have to contend with you hermeneutically that perhaps the Gaza of the bible has already been destroyed and that it is not right to extrapolate the text to present day events. What proof do you have that these prophecies have not already been fulfilled? Thank you.
