In recent years, there are laws allowing mercy killing or voluntary assisted dying for certain people (e.g., terminal illness) are being allowed. While it seems to be merciful to end a suffering life, taking a life is murder and taking one’s own life is suicide. Where do we draw the line, and what does the Bible say about it?
Scriptures contain several battles between several nations. Sometimes God wants a nation to fight against its enemy and destroy it while other sometimes He wants to surrender. In this post, we will explore the situations when God wants a nation to fight and when to surrender and look into the present crisis we have in Russia and Ukraine with Biblical perspective.
The vision given to Dumitru Duduman in April of 1997 may have significance to the current war between Ukraine and Russia.
We were contacted by a reader of this website to look into Isaiah 24 and 25 for all the things that are happening right now. There are indeed some similarities of what was written long ago and what is happening right now. Hence, it is better for us to meditate and prepare ourselves and know what is about to come if what we are experiencing is indeed from these chapters. In this post, we will explore Isaiah chapter 24.
While Jesus did say pestilences will become increasing during the last days, Covid-19 is primarily a socio-economic plague. This could be why we cannot find any direct prophecies for a global pandemic like Covid-19. If we search Scriptures for prophecies based on patterns due to the socio-economic impact of Covid-19, we can almost be certain that this Covid-19 is a precursor to many prophecies about to happen.
The fighting between Israel and Hamas had escalated in recent days. Due to these recent events, it is important for us to know and understand what God spoke through His prophets.
Cyrus does not know God yet He used him as His instrument for His people. In 2016, God appointed Cyrus to rule over the US to be His instrument is part of His grace. In the past 4 years, Cyrus did everything God wanted to give His people.
God had delivered His warning through prophets, Pharaoh and even a donkey. Today, He chose to deliver His warning through a rugby player right before the elections is no coincidence. God used the very people who live in sin to freely advertise His warning to sinners all over Australia in all media. If the message is indeed from God, then based on what He spoke, Jesus had given a grace period to His people in Australia to turn from their sins by giving an election result favourable to His people, allowing them to freely and publicly worship Him for a period before His judgment begins in His house.
More than 300 people were killed in the recent bomb blasts which targeted mostly Christians. There is no doubt God will bring justice quickly to those who do injustice against His people and even Jesus grieved for the death of His friend Lazarus just like us. However, when Jesus was mentioned about the killing of the Galileans and mixing their blood with the sacrifices, He responded in a completely unexpected way. In this post, we will explore the response of Jesus and how we can be spared from such attacks.
This post is a reply to Brian Houston, the Founder and senior pastor of Hillsong Church for his article in The Sydney Morning Herald titled, “A message to Folau: The world doesn’t need more judgmental Christians”. John the Baptist was beheaded for rebuking Herod’s adultery and Jesus was crucified for rebuking sinners and Pharisees who don’t repent. Brian Houston must be ashamed to even quote Jesus Christ and John the Baptist.
